Two Gentlemen of Verona previews Friday in Astoria Park at 7pm!
Curious Frog Theatre Company will be performing both Two Gentleman of Verona and Julius Caesar for their fifth season of FREE Shakespeare in the NYC parks.
Opening August 12th, the comedy Two Gents has been adapted to take place in the early 1980s. One week later, Julius Caesar opens with the more classic 44 B.C. concept.Both shows are FREE, and times, dates and park locations vary. Julius Caesar: http://www.nyitawards.com/oobshows/show.asp?showID=2101Julius Caesar will feature James Ware as an African-American Caesar, with a diverse cast of 7 women and 7 men playing the rest of the roles, including the fighter roles.
